School Cross Country

On Thursday 27th June, Somerville hosted their annual school cross country event. This year we had stunning dry weather for the event and a firm ground for students to perform at their best. The first race of the day was the Year 8 girls, followed by the Year 8 boys. Last to compete were the Year 7 girls and boys.

All the races were hotly contested with the fastest finishing time for the boys being Nate from Year 8 with a time of 9 min 22s, and for the girls, Amber from Year 8, with a time of 9 min 53s.

Well done to all the Somerville students who took on the Cross Country 3km challenge and completed it.  We are extremely proud of you all.
