Kapa Haka Festival

The Kapa Haka students at Somerville Intermediate took to the stage with a sense of pride and enthusiasm on Wednesday 26th June. They came together with 7 other kura in our Waipaparaoa Kāhui Ako to celebrate Matariki. They immersed themselves in learning the haka and waiata to perform to whānau and the wider community. The audience was drawn into the energy of all the performances. A huge thanks to all the team who worked hard to support the students.
