Learning Support Coordinators (LSC’s)

We are seeking two experienced, expert practitioners who have a passion for inclusive education. The ability to work collaboratively and build positive relationships is essential.

This position is funded by the Ministry of Education and the Learning Support Coordinator (LSC) will be employed exclusively by Somerville Intermediate.

The Learning Support Coordinator (LSC) is required to be a registered New Zealand teacher who holds a full practising certificate and has the relevant qualifications. The position is fully released and will involve working with learners, their whānau/parents, teachers, support agencies and senior leaders. A proven track record of working to ensure all students receive appropriate support to enhance their learning and progress, and engaging at a leadership level, is advantageous.
