NIWA South & East Auckland STEM Fair Winners

We are delighted to share the accomplishments of Somerville Intermediate School students who participated in the recent NIWA South and East Auckland STEM Fair.

Somerville Intermediate proudly received a total of fifteen awards across various categories at the NIWA South and East Auckland STEM Fair Prizegiving, held at Somerville Intermediate School on Monday 2 September.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the students who demonstrated dedication and ingenuity. Notably, Jocelyne J earned special recognition by securing the Premier Award for Best Exhibit of the Fair, a testament to her outstanding contribution and hard work.

As a school community, we take immense pride in the achievements of our students. Their success at the NIWA competition exemplifies their commitment to excellence and their passion for science and the world of STEM.
