Auckland Champs Boys Netball

The boys netball team had a great day out competing at the Auckland Champs at Te Pai courts in Henderson on Tuesday
27 August.

The boys represented Somerville well with their sportsmanship and stamina. They played 7 games in total. The event started in miserable wet conditions but ended up coming right and was quite warm by the afternoon. The boys played to their strengths and supported one another. 

The team placed 3rd in their pool and by the end of the day had won 3 games and lost 4. They ended up placing 11th overall. The team only ever lost by 2-3 points, so every game was close. 

The boys did well to qualify for the Auckland Champs - well done!
