Rehu Tai Speech Finals
Over the past two weeks Somerville has hosted both our School Wide Rehu Tai Speech finals and the HPPA Rehu Tai Cluster finals for 2024. We were able to enjoy incredible talent from our school and wider community.
Somerville Intermediate Rehu Tai Finals
The following students presented a three minute speech: Vivaan M, Ruby W, Brendan L, Axel F, Mia Y, Sophia M, Olive G, and Mitchell E. Vivaan M was selected to represent Somerville Intermediate at the APPA Rehu Tai Cluster Finals.
The following students presented a Spoken Word: Molly R, Aria L, Mia S, Pauling Z, Leo W, and Amber B. Pauling Z was selected to represent Somerville Intermediate at the APPA Rehu Tai Cluster Finals.
The following students presented a Rap: Ben D, James H and Max H. Max H was selected to represent Somerville Intermediate at the APPA Rehu Tai Cluster Finals.
The following students presented a Flash Talk: Jack M, Lexi C, Emelia G and Olivia H. From these finalists, Jack M was selected to represent Somerville Intermediate at the APPA Rehu Tai Cluster finals.
HPPA Cluster Rehu Tai Finals
The HPPA Rehu Tai Cluster finals were held on Wednesday 21 August and included participants across eight local schools. The competition was of an incredibly high calibre.
Congratulations to Vivaan M and Max H who received a highly commended award.
