SEZ Badminton

On Tuesday 4th June, Somerville Intermediate School attended the SEZ Badminton competition held at Lloyd Elsmore, Pakuranga. The 10 students from both Years 7 and 8 representing Somerville were:
Cadence C, Luna Y, Coco Z, Elena H, Anson L, Leo C, Manny A, Tyler D, Noah H and Cuthbert C.

At the end of the day, Somerville came away with second place in the girls’ singles, thanks to the efforts of Luna, second place in the boys’ doubles for Manny and Leo, fourth place in the boys’ singles for Cuthbert, fifth place in the boys’ singles for Tyler, fifth place in the girls’ singles for Cadence, eighth place in the boys’ doubles for Noah and Anson and ninth place in the girls’ doubles for Elena and Coco.

Our students were great ambassadors for both our school and the game of badminton and we are proud of you all.
