Inter Zone Swimming

At the South Eastern Zone competition, five Somerville swimmers qualified for the Auckland Inter Zone Championships, which were held at the West Wave Aquatics Centre in Henderson. 

Year 7 Girls - Celestine Z
Year 7 Boys - Leo C
Year 8 Girls - Ashley L and Miya W,
Year 8 Boys - Kento W

There was a high standard of competition and all our students did themselves proud. Special mention must be made of Celestine, Ashley and Kento who qualified for the finals with excellent results:

Celestine Z - 2nd Backstroke, 5th Freestyle
Kento W - 2nd Butterfly, 6th Freestyle, 6th Backstroke 
Ashley L - 5th Freestyle, 7th Breastroke
