SEZ Athletics

On Tuesday 14 November, 60 athletes represented Somerville at the SEZ Athletics event at the Mt Smart Athletics Stadium. We had a successful day out, with the top 3 in each event qualifying for the Auckland Championships, which will be held on Thursday 30 November.

Below are the results of the students going through to Auckland Champs:

Year 7 Girls

Addison A:  100m - 2nd; 200m - 2nd;  Long Jump - 2nd
Amber B:     400m - 3rd; 800m - 1st;  1500m - 1st; 
Kyah W:       High Jump - 1st; Long Jump - 3rd
Relay team:  Addison, Amber, Eden and Nuria - 1st 

Year 7 Boys

Callum W:    Long Jump - 3rd
George H:    High Jump - 3rd
