SEZ Basketball

Girls

On Tuesday 24 September, our Girls Basketball team competed in the SEZ tournament at the Bruce Pulman Arena. The event saw participation from eight schools, making for a day of intense and competitive matches. Despite a narrow loss in the pool round, our team showed resilience and determination, battling for a chance at 5th/6th place. In a hard-fought final game, the girls secured a well-deserved victory, winning by just 2 points. Congratulations to all the girls for their effort and teamwork!

Boys

On Tuesday 24 September, our school  participated in the South Eastern Zone boys basketball tournament. We started with a very close match against Farm Cove Intermediate, which we unfortunately lost. However, we bounced back with a strong win against Howick, showcasing excellent teamwork. In our final game, we faced Sancta Maria and, despite losing, had a lot of fun and enjoyed the experience. Overall, it was a day filled with intense games and valuable lessons.
