First Day 2024

A warm welcome to the Somerville Intermediate School community. A very special welcome to all our new families. The first day went very smoothly. Below is a snapshot of Day One 2024.

It is wonderful to get the new school year underway. Our staff are to be congratulated on their hard work and dedication that have ensured a very smooth start to the year. The students have settled quickly and already, there is a lovely tone in the school.

We have a strong focus on ensuring a broad, stimulating and future-focused education for our students. The school motto: “the best you can be” captures our aspirations and purpose simply and eloquently.
