The Auckland APPA Rehu Tai finals were held at Remuera Intermediate on Thursday 21 September. Ava K and James H represented Somerville Intermediate in the categories, Spoken Word and Flash Talk respectively. Both students spoke with confidence and clarity and Ava K was awarded first place for her Spoken Word.

Congratulations to both James and Ava who delivered outstanding presentations that stood out alongside speeches from schools across Auckland. The judges included Blake Ihimaera, Te Kahu Rolleston, Ethan Alderson-Hughes and Stacey Leilua.
