A total of 15 students participated in the Korean and Mandarin speech competitions held on Monday 21 August. All students were well-prepared and the quality of their speeches was excellent. 

After intense competition, Chaewon Yoon and James Chen won first place in the Korean and Mandarin speech competitions respectively. They will be representing Somerville in the upcoming APPA Korean and Mandarin speech competitions next week. Congratulations to both students!
