All four Year 7 Whānau had highly successful, fun and engaging camp experiences towards the end of Term 1.

We are so pleased our Year 7 students are able to attend these camps this year. The camps are an amazing experience for the students, and for many, it will be the highlight of their time here at Somerville.

We were very lucky with the weather and the students were able to make the most of the exciting outdoor activities on offer, many achieving things they had not believed they were capable of. It was great to see students encouraging others to have a go and celebrating others' successes.

As always this could not have been possible without the wonderful support of the parents, and grandparents, who gave up their time to accompany us on one of the camps. Thank you to the amazing medics who supported each camp, we were truly grateful for your energy and expertise.

We would like to acknowledge and thank Devinder Kaur and family, who donated the bread and rolls for all three camps. We are truly grateful for your generosity and support of our school.
