Year 7

The Year 7 Girls' Soccer team played at St Kents a few weeks ago. The girls got off to a rocky start, getting used to the tricky conditions and adverse weather. A game against Farmcove Intermediate would determine our placing in the competition and the girls showed brilliant skill and heart to secure a 1-0 victory. It was certainly a new experience for the girls and they showed improvement every game we played. Well done girls on showing great perseverance and giving 110% effort.

Year 8

The Year 8 Girls' Soccer team played at St Kents the following week. A sunny but chilly day made for perfect soccer weather. The girls, using their experience and skill, got off to a great start and only an unfortunate result prevented them from topping the group. Playing the favourites St Kents in the semi-final, the girls battled and defended to force the game into the second half of extra time. Unfortunately on the day St Kents got the win but the girls impressed supporters and other coaches with their determination. A quick turnaround and a win meant the girls finished third overall. Amazing effort (especially against St Kents) on the day and you should be proud of the result!
