On 21st June we had our school cross country, and it was a very successful day.

The Year 7 girls set off at 9.00 am and the race was won by Anjalee Singh. Asher Saunders came in second, followed by Hannah Webb in third place. The Year 7 Boys set off at about 9.30 am and finished well. Shay Dawson came in first, closely followed by Josh Capper and Alex Widvey. During the course of the race a couple of boys showed great supportiveness as one started having problems with his asthma and his friend stayed behind to finish the race with him.

The Year 8 girls started right on time at 11.00 am, and after a smooth run, Brooke Conover took out first place, with Shreeya Daji in second and Sophie Forgie in third. The Year 8 boys started off very competitively at 11.30 am and it was the fastest race yet! First place went to Will Holland, followed closely by Josh Holland, and Samuel Warren, all within 30 seconds of each other.

The day went very smoothly, and everyone put in a great effort. A big thank you to all the parents who gave up their free time to help out, and to those who came to watch and support the students as they ran.
