A fantastic time was had by the students of Syndicate C and Room 24 at their camp on Motutapu Island in Week 9.

Even on one very wet day, nearly every activity still went ahead. As the week progressed and the weather improved, the students challenged themselves with new activities and got involved at every opportunity.

Disappointingly the students of Syndicate D and Room 26 had to be recalled early from their camp on the island due to some slips and ground damage caused by the heavy rain. We are extremely proud of the resilience and positive attitudes shown by our students and very grateful for the support of the parents who attended this camp.

Unfortunately any remedial work needed on Motutapu could not be completed in time for the final camp (Syndicate A and Room 25) to go ahead this week.

Despite this,we would like to thank all those parents of Year 7 students who volunteered their time and expertise to help at camp. Whether the camp went ahead or not, we truly appreciate your support.
